I Help The Stiff And Stuck Become Flexible And Fit
So They Can Be Confident and Capable to Do the Things They Love Most
You know sitting all day isn’t doing you any favors.
Yet it seems to be everywhere.
And it’s hard to break the cycle to get up and move when your body feels stiff, tense and quick to fatigue.
You want to make a change, but you’re not sure how to go from where you are, back to the flexible, pain-free body you know is possible.
But not for lack of trying, you’ve fallen short. Life has gotten in the way. It’s hard to prioritize your body over work, family and other demands.
In spite of that, you want to build a strong, capable, and fearless body that you can depend on. A body that is ready to play and moves through the world with skill. Most of all, you want a body fully capable of experiencing all that life has to offer, without worrying about injury.
Maybe you’ve faced some of the same challenges my students do…
How do I find time to train, when life continually demands more from me?
How do I stay calm and relaxed in my body, in a world that keeps winding me up?
Why does it seem like I’m supposed to shame and guilt myself into training multiple hours a day to get the results I want?
What am I really craving with my body, beyond looking like a model on the cover on a fitness magazine?
And is it even possible to have a strong, agile, masterful body with the injuries I’ve experienced and the way modern life has messed up my posture?
If you’re struggling with any of these questions (and maybe you have more), I just want to say that I get it.
I see you.
I was struggling with many of the same things for years.
- I struggled with tension and pain while working at a full-time desk job
- I shamed and guilted myself to do boring workouts that often left me feeling worse
- I tried everything to fix my posture and stretch, but nothing seemed to produce lasting results
All of it was part of the journey back to me getting clear on what kind of body I really wanted. I had to take a hard look at my motivations, and more importantly, reflecting on how my total lifestyle was affecting my body, not just my time spent training.
Let’s face it, you’ve probably been on a messy, circuitous path to building the body you want, too. And you’re probably wondering at this point if you can even really have it all… if you really can create the body you truly want, despite all the challenges.
Yes. You can.
I’m not going to lie to you. It’s going to take some work. But it can be incredibly fun, too.
The good news is that it’s not too late. And yes, you can have it all.
All you need is the willingness to do the work, and an approach that addresses your whole life, not just the time you spend training.
Who I Work With
My clients are busy professionals and world-changing entrepreneurs. They have no problem working hard, but they often struggle with making a priority for movement.
Together we build healthy movement habits that are stacked into your life. That is, they become a part of your lifestyle that doesn’t require more time.
I’ve found this is the key to getting lasting results, and is the major problem with the mainstream fitness industry.
What Our Work Together Will Look Like
The goal is always the same:
I get to know you and your unique body. I spend time listening to you, hearing about your lifestyle and your movement history. We talk about where you want to go and what you’re struggling with, and getting clear on the dreams you have for your body.
Then I get to work on a unique blueprint of strategies and practices specific to your needs.
The results often come faster than you expect.
Why You Won’t Find Another Coach Like Me
Most trainers focus only on exercises and correctives for you to perform in sets and reps. That’s nice, and it can produce some results. But in my opinion, it’s not enough.
You won’t get lasting results until you address whole life.
That is, your mindset, your habits at work, your sleep, relationships. All of it.
Yes, we will be going deep into movement and challenging you there. But we will not pretend that the rest of your life is somehow disconnected from your body. This is the precise reason many fitness programs fail, and why many coaches get lackluster results.
In our work, we will focus on your whole body, and your whole life.
What if I “Can’t Afford” Coaching?
My work isn’t for everyone, and coaching with me isn’t the only way to radically change your life.
My online program, Uncaged Body is a great solo-style way to get started rebuilding your natural strength.
But remember, investing money in your health and the future of your body is one of the most powerful commitments you can make with yourself.
Over the years, I’ve hired dozens of personal coaches. I’ve spent over $20,000 in workshops, certifications, books, and online programs.
Every time I’ve invested in my body, I’ve always been grateful that I made the decision to do so.
Think about it. This is the only body you’ve got. If you don’t take care of it, where will you live?
